How do you surf the Internet without getting burned?

Specific Recommendations for safer Internet;

1. If you can, use a Mac instead, they’re safer.

2. Don’t use Internet Explorer, get Firefox or Safari.

3. Don’t give out your e-mail address too freely.

4. Use a Hotmail account as a disposable address.

5. Don’t use Hotmail for your business, only personal.

6. Never reply to spam.

7. Get an ADSL router with a firewall.

8. Get good anti-virus, I use Trend.

9. Get Spybot to cure malware.

10. Don’t download “free” software.
